Spring is here, and so are the opportunities to stop and enjoy spring flowers before they're gone! Similarly, "When She Came Around" reflects delicate, fleeting, moments of romantic connection and attraction with people who grace our lives briefly, leaving butterflies in our stomachs, and then part ways perhaps never to be seen again.

For some of us who identify within the umbrella of bisexuality, otherwise known as the multi-gender-attraction spectrum (m-spec), attraction is nuanced, complex, and at times illusive.

This piece speaks to the affirmation and visibility felt when a moment of fleeting connection coupled with attraction occurs, giving us access to our same sex attraction. It speaks to the nourishment obtained through full authenticity and reminds us of how special our capacity for attraction to multiple genders is.

If you're somebody for whom this resonates, know that you are seen here! I hope you'll find what you need in the piece "When She Came Around." Just like those fleeting moments mentioned above, my work sells quickly so don't miss your chance to buy "When She Came Around" today!

  • Visual Description of "When She Came Around"

The image depicts the work "When She Came Around," a black and white illustration with two painted color circle accents: one circle is turquoise, the other brown. The illustration depicts floral and figurative elements. The figurative elements shown are the profiles of two bodies with breasts with the legs of the person on the left placed between the legs of the person on the right, and their torsos separated by space in between. The body's shown are lovely, non-normative body's. The white paper may leave some to assume that the bodies are white. The body on the left received floral accents starting with a flower and pedals on the lower portion of the buttocks, a stem with leaves tracing the contour of the back up to another stem that runs along the right side of the body with the head of the flower landing around where the right shoulder might be. An arm drapes over the left body, from right to left, with the hand hanging near the mid to lower back.
